Recently, the St Paul Development Corporation sponsored a survey that would gauge the amount of satisfaction with certain provided services and would rate the importance of other possible Howard Avenue improvements. Although applicable to all that frequent Howard Avenue, this survey was completed by main street businesses and property owners.
The data gathered by the survey would than be used to decide whether or not a more conclusive study and overall master plan, conducted by third-party professional planners, should be completed.
In this survey the conditions of several components of Howard Avenue were rated. Also within this survey was a rating of key improvements that have been utilized by surrounding towns. Finally, a series of questions were asked regarding how to finance these improvements, if implemented.
